"Please, Artie… let's do it. Let's just do it. You know you want to. You know I want to. I love you. With all my heart. With every fiber in my being. Please. I want to spend forever with you. I want to be with you the rest of my life. You are my future."

Artemis stared down at Wally, stunned. He was on one knee before, holding up a small felt box. Inside was a one of a kind, custom made ring. For her. Just for her. He wanted to… marry her. Be her forever man and here she was just staring at him.

She claimed she wasn't scared of anything. She was fearless. Death itself didn't scare her. But the thought of marrying Wally- marrying anyone for that matter scared the shit out of her. She didn't know how to deal with it. She swallowed hard and looked at him again, prepared to tell him no.

But she looked into his green eyes; she knew she didn't want to say no. Not really anyway. She loved this man before her. She wanted to spend the rest of forever with him. Putting a title to it, shouldn't change the way she felt about him.

And it didn't.

Pressing her hand to her mouth, she took a deep breath and nodded her head.

"Yes, Wally. I'd love to marry you."
